Coming up with unique Christmas gifts can definitely be a challenge. Year after year, you tell yourself that you are going to be creative, but then you see that popular toy option, and opt for that because in the holiday rush, easier = better. Well, stop the trend this year! If your kid has not told you what they want, or if you want to get really creative with their gifts, choose a few winners off of this list to take home and put under your tree. From imaginative-play toys, high-quality clothes, and other creative ideas, you are sure to find something that you and your kid(s) will love. Here are a few of my top gift options when it comes to Christmas gifts this year:

Lovevery Baby Gym
A Lovevery baby gym is an amazing idea if you have a baby (even toddlers like them, though!). The Lovevery gym is the ultimate gift for infants and toddlers and their play kits go from ages 0 to 24 months. They also have other products and blocks too, for older kids. Their main goal is to help every parent feel confident. Their play products are designed by child development experts and distilled to their simplest, purest purpose: to be exactly what each child needs at each individual developmental stage. “The idea behind Lovevery began after Jessica read a doctoral dissertation titled Current Research Findings on the Neurological Development of Infants. (Such a nerd, right?).
Through reading the study Jessica learned that the human brain has about 100 billion nerve cells, all of which are present at birth but have few links between them. Babies brains develop by constructing an intricate communication network. The network’s structure is formed by experiences children have in the first 3 years of life. The research revealed the more you expose babies to how the world works, the richer the neural networks become. Jessica’s takeaway was that early development experiences wouldn’t just happen on their own, she had to create them. Jessica wanted to share what she had learned with other parents. This desire gave her the idea to create a second baby company, this time focused on brain development. The hard part would be bringing that idea to reality, she would need help. The moment that Rod said that he would co-found the company, it all became real! Jessica and Rod created Lovevery, a company that offers products and information which help create developmental experiences in the lives of new babies and families. Lovevery helps parents feel confident that they are giving their little ones just what they want and need every step of the way.”

An Experience
Every kid loves an experience! No matter the age of the child, an experience is always a great idea. For babies and toddlers, a mom and me class can be a great idea. In fact, the earlier the better. My friend, Alex, just took her baby who is six weeks old to her first mom and me yoga class. But even if you are starting at a later age, it is still a fantastic gift! Get creative with it and figure out what kind of experience your individual child would love.
By George Baby
One Christmas gift that I love to buy for my daughter is clothes – and high-quality clothes, at that. Not only are clothes a fun option for Christmas gifts, but it is a practical option that you will actually use every single day. A great place to shop when it comes to Christmas gifts is By George Baby! Located in Fair Haven, NJ, By George Baby is a boutique baby and toddler clothing store. They feature trusted, luxury name brands such as The Beaufort Bonnet Company (a favorite!), The Proper Peony, Bella Bliss, Kissy Kissy, and many other names. They offer one or two pieces, layette options for both girls and boys, plenty of fall and winter items, sweaters, pajamas, blankets, accessories, outerwear, Christening outfits, unique nursery items, and more! If you have any questions about their baby and toddler options, you can reach out to them at bygeorge795@gmail.com. Their fall and winter clothing options range from sizes in newborn up to six years old, so there is something for most of the kids you will be shopping before. When I visit By George Baby (online or in-store), I have the hardest time not buying everything because it is all adorable!

A Coupon Book
If your child is doing chores around the house, a coupon book is a great and unique option! Maybe add coupon ideas to allow them to skip chores, or redeem an easy “second” allowance – get creative and have fun with it!
A Customized Blanket
Last but not least, customized options are always fun and a blanket is perfect because it’s a perfect cool weather addition! There are many places where you can customize blanket options with names, other text, and even pictures, as well.
What will you be gifting to your child this holiday season ?
