Yes, Diaper Changes CAN be fun.
⠀
▫️BE PREPARED
Be prepared + get organized ! I’m a huge advocate for having multiple diaper changing stations throughout the home. Stocked and ready to go diaper caddies, diaper drawers, play yards + changing tables will 110% be a game changer.
⠀
▫️ CHOOSE THE RIGHT DIAPER
We use @cutiesbabycare (Sir Andy currently wears a Size 3). Knowledge that the diapers I’m using are functional, holding, and not deteriorating, leaking OR causing him to rash changes the whole landscape of the diaper changing experience.

Nothing is worse than going to change your little ones diaper to find that the interior of the diaper was falling apart from all that scooting - bouncing - crawling and SHOCKER a diaper rash or irritation has formed.
⠀
▫️ BE A BUDDY
Get silly + be a buddy. Make eye contact. Talk your baby through the diaper change - vocalizing what actions you are doing. Sing some songs. Place a toy (or even the pack of baby wipes) on your little ones tummy for them to have something to grab and touch.

▫️ MAKE IT A FAMILY AFFAIR
Diaper changes are a great way to get big brother or big sister involved ! Let siblings enjoy their “big bro/ big sis” role by assisting with gathering the supplies, adjusting the diaper straps, or even tossing the dirty diaper. Let them join in on the silly faces, the conversation and the songs.
